Im back with the new bed

Well,I won a bed on ebay to replace "The Cheese Grater" as Tim calls it.I left at 7:30 and it took about 5 hours to get to Northern Indiana to get the bed.It was about 70 when I left this morning, and was a cold 48 when I got up there. With the help of about 4 others the bed was loaded and tied down and then I started on the 5 hour trip home.Atleast it wasnt pouring down rain like it was when I was going through Indy.Well, the 6.5 Diesel Silv.2500 4x4 pulled the 20' gooseneck trailer with no problem.Barely even noticed the trailer was back there.Of course,if a whole truck was back there,I would have noticed....Anyway I bought a $355 short fleet bed.It is just about rust free. The floor (metal) is in great shape,as is the wheel tubs. The front panel is straight and rust free. The sides have some surface rust but are very solid compared to the old short fleet it is replacing. It was nearly dark when I got home so I didnt take any pics but will get some posted tomorrow....
I'm tired,Im going to bed
