It drives....LOL... but far from finished

Broke a milestone today this puppy left the garage and went down the street under its own power. I have been going at it every weekend this past month. Install all new brake parts, installed a Hurst shifter, finished tying up the exhaust and had a one-piece drive shaft fabricated. Rigged up some temporary wiring and a couple of gauges so I can run it from the cockpit. I need to get some fat tires under it because it just boils it even while rolling, Eventually a posi unit is going to have to be installed.

Had a few problems, can get the brake line from the master to the proportion valve to stop leaking. New lines…. new master…..what the heck is the problem?

The Carb just doesn’t want to idle in gear most of the time. This is the first time I have used an Edelbrock and it kinda of odd but I can’t even start the motor unless the choke is closed. Its not like a holly where the accelerator pump dumps in a lot of fuel….is that normal for these? Maybe I should go to an electric choke? What are your experiences with the Edelbrocks?
