shaved cowl and wipers???

I am going to have my cowl panel shaved and wanted to still have the wipers and use of the squirters as the truck will be a driver. I would like to shave off the squiter holes as well and try to use something siniliar to a mid 90's chevy astro van style with squirters built into the blades. Is it possible? Has anybody done this , if so share your thoughts. TIA Randy
