It's a 68,69,70,71,72 C10, K10,K20

Well, thats the years multiple truck parts came from for the 71,a matter of fact...the only thing that I still have on the truck from when I bought it was the axles and frame, which both had considerable work done. The bed is a '68.Cab is '71,Fenders from '69.Seat from a '72.Door panels from a '70.Well,now I can add the K20 status to it.As some know, there wasnt any 3/4 ton shortbeds, and thats true for the 4x4s too.Mine,is an original shortbed 4x4.But,as I looked over the VIN,something caught my eye.The first digits arent correct. It starts with KE234.Thats a vin for a 3/4 ton 4x4 with a V8.Not matching the VIN thats on the glovebox. It,which is original states it had a 6 cylinder. Not a V8.And has the short wheel base listed.
So,I guess I better look for a different cab w/ title and correct VIN.You cant tell from the door jam VIN the wheelbase,so any 1/2 ton 4x4 will fix my need.
Still makes me mad. But,atleast the VIN thats on it had the glovebox in the back.Which the truck was a loaded truck sporting Tow hooks, tach, manual throttle, posi rear.
