You won't believe this: My '69 to be seen all over the world.

Here's the short version. Was doing a landscaping job today just outside Hollywood,Calif. (actually in Silverlake area) today and went to the local taco stand to get my helper some lunch. A guy approaches my window and says he wants to rent my truck for a film shoot. I said I was busy, and was in the middle of an important job. He says they will pay me $600 and all they want is a truck for a prop in Agoura (about 40 miles away, out in the sticks). So I told my guy to finish up and take a bus home and I drive out there. They have 2 real tall, skinny models that were REAL cute and one was endowed with, ahem,a very shapely figure. After hours of waiting they had me drive my poor dirty old work-truck,bed full of wood,up a dirt road where they proceeded to open the tailgate and start filming these cuties sitting on it,them sitting IN the truck, outside it etc. I told the props guy that if I had known,I could have cleaned it up from work etc. He said "Oh no,it's PERFECT!"
A couple of the production unit guys were Brits and were in aw of my truck! They thought it was so cool etc. I told the prop guy to pinch me because this just couldn't be happening. In the end, after 4 hours of pilfering their catering table (the best table of food I've seen in years),I was paid $600,said my goodbyes to the crew and drove home. My truck will be in the Aug.and Sept.Issues of a bunch of magazines, the only one I remember was "Sixteen" but I will get the list later. It will be an ad for " Nine West" clothes. One of the crew said they were doing a topless shot for the European market. I said my truck will like that ( I didn't get to see that part, and he may have been pulling my leg.
