My first project

Well here are a few pics of something i picked up recently. This is my first project and I am new to this forum, so I will probably be asking a lot of easy and maybe dumb questions but Im excited to work on this with my two boys. I got the box ready to lift off already and going to get it blasted and primed with a weld-thru primer to bring it back and start doing some work on the box. The cab as you can see is junk. Needs new floor, corners, and rockers. Been looking hard to just find a different cab, but no luck yet. The box is completely straight.

Here is the ad I saw... I got it for $900. did I get jacked? or is it a good deal?

1972 GMC Truck Sierra 1500 long box Chevy Orange, 2 wheel drive
383 (350 stroker) motor (25K miles on motor)
Edelbrock RPM performer intake manifold
474 lift Isky Cam
Holley four-barrel carburetor (600 or 650 CFM, not sure)
New radiator
Rebuilt TH 350 transmission (25K miles on tranny, rebuilt by Nebraska Transmission)
New brakes
Working factory tachometer.

$1350 OBO.
