Question Gmc 305e V6

Hi All,
This is my first post so please bear with me
I am looking to replace the carburetor and distributor. I have learned after lots of reading that the Pertronix Igniter Kit part #1162A and the Flame Thrower 40,000 Volt Coil part # 40001 would be a good choice. Would you all agree with this? Or is there something better? Easier? Cheaper?
For the carburetor I am considering the Holley Street 500cfm 2-barrel part # 4412S or the Demon Street Demon 2-Barrel Carburetor 500cfm part #1372210m. What do you think? Or is there something better? Easier? Cheaper?

The Stromberg-Bendix Model WW is badly worn and leaks, and I am tired of replacing points, is the reason for the change.

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions as to what I should do.
John
