Sound Deadening - Fuel Tank ????

I am in process of doing the cab sound deadening thing and have the fuel tank out rear wall complete etc. I am using Bquiet ultimate and its pretty good going so far... I think I am going to install a strip along the top and bottom mounting points of the tank to absorb some of the potential noice transfer at the mounting points -but B4 I put the tank back in - Is there any point in putting a 3' x 12" strip accross the front and rear of the tank body to eliminate tank noise or is this a waste? I dont see the point or "wrapping" the tank but thought that maybe a layer at the body of the tank would have some impact???

Maybe I should just keep my tank full.... but that may be more expensive then the sound deadener.....

Any ideas / comments??

Thanks,
