Tubular a arms?? Do they perform???

I am beating my head wondering which way to go on the front suspension on my blazer. I have been thinking about doing the C4 swap and also going totaly tubular. Will I be happy with strong arms for the performance gain or is there any performance gain. I know tubular arms help with the angles on a slammed truck but do you gain any handling out of them? What if you went with tubular arms and installed a rack? I want to move my crossmember foward about 1.5" so I am going to have to do something with the steering anyways so I would go on a fabricate a rack in there anyways and do away with the old steering setup anyways. And if I go with the C4 stuff I will have to run adapters for my wheels or buy 2 front wheels which will cost my ass. What you guys think??????
