A truck Johnny Cash would be proud of.

I have been a member for a while and have used the site for tips etc. I am far enough I thought I would introduce myself.

I started with a 1970 3/4 ton chevy 4x4 with a 350 auto and 4:10 gears. I got frustrated when I kept having problems and decided to start the tear apart process. I am now building a 1969 GMC 3/4 ton Long Bed 4x4 2" lift with p/s,p/b, vintage air, 383 hei with 700r4, 205 transfer case 17" aluminum wheels with 285's. What a mouth full. This is a frame off but not a full restoration. The plan is to make a nice daily driver. The paint will be Copper with tan interior. Everything is coming apart to be cleaned sanblasted and painted. The original truck was the copy but the donor cab was saddle and I just don't like it. I call it Johnny's Pride. It may not be a Caddy but it fits the intent.
