Re: correct valve cover install.

You can flip them from side to side I have done it many times for the same reason.

AND no you can't just flip some valve covers like yours, s/t and keep them on the same side,you are correct that they are canted over to the intake side.

Most but not all aftermarket valve covers can be fliped any which way you want as they are not canted like yours are.
