I am new this board as well as new to the world of 67-72 trucks. I have a 1969 GMC Stepside that I am looking to install A/C in. I have read all the post about the Vintage Air units and was convinced to buy one, but I found the Brothers website for truck parts and they have a complete unit on sell for $900. It doesn't say what brand it is. It may be a package they have put together.
My question is, Does anyone have one of these units, and what do you think as far as install, quality of fit, and quality of performance. I would love to save the extra money for other goodies on the truck, but I don't want to sacrifice quality for a few hundred dollars.
