rear suspension

Hey guys i have a 70 gmc i want to go for the "pro street" look. Big tiers out back slammed to the ground.

My question is right now i have leaf spring rear and it doesnt hook up at all. So which should i do 4 link... ladder bar.. or jut find a crossmember and order new trainling arms and springs to make it a trailing arm rear like chevys?

Pros vs Cons? on all of these. Past experiences. I eventually want to build a motor and run high 11s and still beable to take it to car shows and cruises. I want to drive it.
