Th350 Length- Need Help ! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

You fellas with 2WD short bed trucks and the TH350 , what tail shaft length do you have , the 6" the 9" or the 12" . I was told 12" is the one for all 2WD regardless of bed size but the 200R4 is susposed to be a straight swap for the 350 and it is short tail size and the 3 speed standard that is in my truck now seems to be short tail size , so I'm totaly confused and do not know which TH350 to search for . Thanks for your help .
