...you know that little junction terminal by the battery, on the right fender?
Well, if you do, then you are aware that there is a wire to the battery and one from the terminal to the alternator, right?
My truck started to die when I let off of the gas. It would start right back up. Next time I let off of the gas, it would die. This process was repeated until I got to work, two weeks ago. I had a new lighting harness that I had installed a couple of years ago. I had a new ignition harness that I was waiting to install, and thought that replacing the ignition harness was a good idea. So, I had it done. Truck would not even crank! Lights wouldn't work. Nothing. It took another expert to find that the terminal on the fender had a loose connection. I guess that letting off of the gas caused the engine to "torque" and tug on the wire which broke the connection and caused the engine to die. So, make sure that yours is tight. It might save you from some headaches.
