Checked my MPG today

68 long bed 2wd

350 performer RPM aluminum heads, comp cams 270H about 10:1 compression, SMI stage 2 Qjet, performer intatke, 3.73 rear super t-10 4 speed, 295/50/15's all the way around.

13.5 MPG on country roads, and back and forth to work a few times - and I wasn't trying for good MPG on most trips either . In fact, I took a couple of trips with friends who wanted to see what she had, so you know how those trips usually go

I bet if I drove conservatively, I could get 17 or 18 with it.
