Installed posi, but now have noises - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I used the original shims. One of them I had to grind .005 off it on the opposite side of the ring gear. Now when I drive it there is a clicking sound inside the diff. and you can also hear a whine that sounds like a power steering pump. Any ideas. YES there is gear oil in the diff. with Limited slip additive.
