is it worth it? need opinions

hey all,

i have got a chance to buy a 79 K10, 350/350, NP203, stock front and rear axles, still full time 4wd... its been the junkyard up the road's yard wrecker for about 15 years

the good:

all the body matches, its cheap, it comes with a clear title, factory PS/PB

the bad:

no reverse or park, brakes need help, body is shot (not rusted but SEVERLY dented), left front spring has a broken leaf

the price:
$200 with no engine, or $500 with the engine... i personally dont think the engine is worth $300, its a stock 70s 350, had a crank kit put in (turned crank and all new bearings), two rods swapped out with junkyard peices, carb is junk, newer timing chain..
i can put $300 in a 305 i have and have a rebuilt 1998 305 vortec engine, or $50 in a 1986 305 elcamino engine im getting, and i can get a rebuilt 700r4 out of a 1983 K10 CHEAP ($150ish).. so in short i could have a running driving K10 for $500, or a really nice running driving K10 for $800ish.. i have a really nice 76 2wd body i could put on it

is this thing worth getting??? i cant decide

i already have way to many projects, but i just hate seeing a running working K10 crushed
