After six years, it finally drives again (well...stops).

I've finally done it. After 6 years of not being registered and legally street driven, I drove her around the block today. It felt great, but I was also on the edge of my seat with the power booster not being hooked up yet With front discs and no power assist, the brakes already feel a ton better than the 4 wheel manual drums ever did. I can't imagine how it's going to feel after I get the booster hooked up, and the rear brakes functioning. I'm pretty excited. To think I've done all this in a few months of one day at a time work, with nothing but absolutely basic and cheap tools..pretty awesome.

I'm going to check the shop across the highway tomorrow to see what he'll charge me to do the ball joints and a-arm shafts....hopefully it won't be too outrageous.

Now all I need is the power steering and I'm golden.
