Newbie from Alabama...I am also new to the board. Had a 69 Chevy Step-Side when I was a kid and just found myself a 1970 Chevy Step-Side for $300. Lots of body work to be done, but the frame is straight and the engine and transmisson are buildable. It actually runs...drove it 90 miles to get it home! (that was an experience...90 miles of wondering whether or not you'll make it.)

Also have a 2001 GMC Sierra extended cab that is the daily driver.

I have been browsing the board for a week or so and like what I see...lots of great info and tips. I look forward to building 70 Chevy and know that I will learn alot from the board.
