HEI Installation and I got to thinking ????

Could you put a relay in for the 12volt power wire to the HEI? I can't come up with a good reason why you would want to, but it crossed my mind this weekend.

Goes something like this:

Battery to relay
Relay to HEI
Unfused or fused "on with ignition" terminal to relay

Key on, power to relay causes power to HEI.

Like I said, I can't think of a good reason to do this. Sometimes I just like to invent things to do for the sake of doing them.
