Shocks to soft in the front?

I am running air shocks in the rear and like the stiff ride. Its not really stiff at all just not as soft as the front . I am using gas shocks in the front and the suburban is spongy in the front . Also with the bigger tires 265/40/22 the tires will bounce when i hit a bump.
The burb has been lowered 5-7 and I am thinking of using a stock length 4x4 shock like the rancho shocks, I hear they are pretty stiff. Any recommendations on shocks?
