Need some creative help to get these out!
Just got new leaf springs which came with stock rubber bushings. I picked up some polyurethane ones to replace them and went about replacing them.
The rubber was a b*tch to get out, but I managed to do it. But there is an outer metal sleeve that was on the outside of the bushing and it appears to be spot welded in places to the leaf spring eye! What would you all try to get it out? I've tryed banging it hard with a metal chisel with no luck. I don't my torch system with me either. I have 5 more rounds after this one and i don't want to spend all weekend fiddling with it.
