Questions about a 62

Here is a couple of pics that I have questions about. The first 2 are a right and left view of the front engine mount of this V-6 GMC. The frame crossmember looks like a stock piece, but the block mount looks like a piece of angle iron scabbed in with a piece of rubber belt for the mount.

I hope the pics are clear enuff. Is this a factory setup?

The last pic is just crude with that pinched off line. Did these trucks originally have a hydraulic clutch? It has a z-bar linkage setup that looks too crude to be factory, with a hacked hole in the floorboard. I forgot to take a pic of the linkage. It feels like the front and rear brakes still work, altho it is hard to tell. Definitely have to pump the brakes to get a decent pedal. Fluid is OK.

Any help is appreciated.

Later---DAC
