tank plumbing

whats the best way to plumb the tank after its been moved to rear of truck?
ive had people tell me to go to a boat dealer and get lines and all kind of things.. anyone used lines off a blazer or how did you do it? this is being done on a 67 step shorty. i dont think it would be in the best interest of the truck to use hose all the way, but wanting opinions or other options. pics would be nice if you have them also. thanks guys
