Would you buy this burb?

I found a rust free 69 3/4 ton 4x4 burb near me that has no interior except for the front seat. It's a 4 speed manual with a NP205 transfer case. Original height never lifted. It had a 350 in it originally and now has a 292 straight 6 that runs good. All the seals need replacing. No major dents or old bodywork that I could find. Needs a paint job and new tires. It does not have AC. And it's the tailgate style. The only rust is where it looks like water puddled in the rear lift up glass and it rusted through there a little. The guy is asking $1500 for it. Should I get it? Should I try to talk him down at all? How rare are 3/4 ton 4x4 burbs?
