4wd to 2wd ?

I know this has been beat to death,BUT. Anyone who has done the swap,IN YOUR OPINION, would it be easier to cut down a SWB truck frame and use the blazer mounts or just use the clip and flip method on the 4wd frame? I have both,so I won't have to buy any frames. Also for the guys who have flipped the rear, how does it ride and did you use the stock rear springs. Thanks in advance.
