71 C30 brakes

I have my 1971, or so the title says, C30 cab and chassis w/Franklin motor home in the shop getting ready for Sturgis, mechanic says it has a '70 grille and has drums up front. Some one posted that '70 was the last year for drum brakes, will not be doing a conversion to disks at this time, have pads and calipers on the way, jobber says thier are (2) size pads listed for the rear, any bits of wisdom on this project?, thanks in advance.
