I just bought my first 72 Jimmy....

and I'm pumped about fixing it up. I can't afford to do a full restoration at this time, but I want to do a few things. Any clues from the experts/experienced on this board as to sites or "best ways" to get linked up with quality/well priced items that are used or new, please reply. Most immediately I need to address the following:
* Rust at the footing of the door jams and almost up under the front seats is pretty bad. I hear thats common on this truck, but should I cut and rebuild, cut and buy a new piece to fit in there (if that's available...where to find), or is there another solution I'm not aware of?

* I need to buy a roll bar. Any thoughts on where to find that besides junk yard hunting (which I'm more than willing to do, but where do you guys find them)?

* I'm hoping I can rig it up with a "bikini soft top" from the window to the roll bar and use that through the whole winter because the winters are mild here and I love the convertible all year, besides the fact that I'm retarded in that way. I haven't seen any such item for sale, although in a couple instances I've seen them on trucks. Does anyone know where I can find that or does it have to be custom made? Will a jeep bikini top work?

Tons more questions to come I'm sure. I'm really glad I found this board.

Thanks.
