Fuel gauge...

I know this has been posted before however I'm just getting around to asking about it now. My Fuel gauge, full or empty tank, always shows right around half way on the gauge. I have checked the +12v and the negative and all checks out ok. I remember a resistor??? solution that was posted in the past? Anyone have a bead on where I can get one of these, or how else to fix this issue?

Thank you
