copper crush washer needed for brake hose?

hey guys,

I am replacing my wheel cylinders and brake hoses. When I took the originals apart, there was a very thin washer where the brake hose threads into the back of the wheel cylinder. My new brake hoses didn't come with them, so I tried doing without, as the surfaces looked flat enough to create a seal.

well, I was wrong. I can tighten down on it pretty damn tight, and it still weeps brake fluid.

after googling a bit, it sounds like what I need are copper crush washers, which is probably what I originally had. guess I need to go back to the parts store.

anyone else had experience with this?
