rear bumper brackets

who really knows their rear bumper brackets?i'm replacing the rear bumper.when i bought it someone had put on a suburban/blazer bumper which was cool.but, the step pad had become scratched and ugly and i couldn't find a new replacement pad anywhere.so,i decided to go with a stock fleetside no strip bumper.while removing the burb bumper i found it was only really held on by 4 bolts on the outers only.i'm missing the inner brackets.my question is does anybody know if burb/blazer brackets are different than trucks because the bottom hole on the brackets on my truck dont seem to match the new truck bumper.i'd have to try and suck it in with about a 3 inch bolt.the burb bumper has some brackets bolted to it on backside i can't figure either.i'm thinkin i'll just have 4 bolts.the outers, holding it on,unless i find some truck brackets which must be different.although they list burb/blazer/fleetside as having same bumper.
