Shorten Frame/Shorten Long Bed to Short Bed

Ok,

I have read on the forum about a number of guys that have shorten their LWB frames to SWB frames. A couple of guys have put some bits and pieces of information on where to make cuts on both the bed and the frame.

Is there a kit or detailed info packet that is out there to tells you exactly where to make the cuts and at what locations? I would eventually like to take on this task, but I would like to feel more comfortable with the information before I get too far into it. I have even saw some suppliers sell weld in frame strengtherns for where you make the cut, but I feel more comfortable with directions that I can reference.

Any help would be appreciated.
