Wood bed strip Question?
Hey all,
I got the Stepside bed off the truck and all torn down to start the paint and bodywork prep. The steel strip that holds the wood down that is connected to the side of the bed is rusted and I want to replace it. I have seen the new ones being sold, but can't figure out the best way to remove the old one. It looks as if it is spot welded the whole length. How do you install the new ones, especially for you polished stainless steel strip guys. Do you go back and spot weld the new ones in? Let me know what the best coarse of action is! Thanks ! Shawn
