Details:A little goes a long way
On my`72 K2500 Sierra,I`m going over a few things to give it a bit more bounce, kinda freshen it up.I haven`t done much since I went over it in`01 when I bought it.I went over the body with liquid clay bar and that stuff really cleans the paint up nice.Takes alot of marks and stains out.I waxed it with a McGuire`s cleaning wax, too.
First,Before the tailgate band... New tailgate band... Then,I started stripping the paint off the big old "Bartons" bumper... Got some metallic silver on there. It`s ok,but I`m not sure I like it.I was trying for a rallye wheel color... All I need are clips for the upper moulding. This is more how it looked originally.
