need steering help on 4x4 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

not sure if this is the right section, but here goes: I swapped out my 1/2 ton suspension and axles on my '67 burb for the 3/4 ton axles and suspension from my '68 GMC truck. Everything went ok, but now I'm having trouble getting the steering arm, I think that is what it is called, back into the axle knuckle on both trucks. Doesn't seem to want to hammer in or press in. I tried pressing it in with the 4 studs/nuts that hold it in place with no success.

Any tricks or help would be appreciated. Thanks
