Cool New member

Hi, Im Samantha and I am the proud parent of a 1971 GMC pickup truck. When I was 14 I fell in love it! when I got my pickup it wasn't is good shape at all but the engine was built, and sound. So with my dad helping and teaching me new things that I didn't know I rebuild my first truck. It is a 1971- longbed stepside GMC. It has a chevy 350 in it, that about 2 months ago I put in because I shattered the cam, and put a rod through the bottom of the oil pan. The best thing about my truck is that I can say that I build! It has a custom paint job on it that I also did, and a custom grill that my Father made for me, I stayed with the original design of the truck and put new oak in the bed. Being only 16 when I finished my truck it was built for a daily driver but now I got me a new truck that is better on gas miliage, so my baby is going to get a fresh coat of paint and shined up a bit more so she'll be ready for Hot August Nights next year!!! I respect all trucks, old, new, restored, driven, and I enjoy seeing what others have done with there rigs.
