anybody try to change hinge pins??
In the future I'd like to get new doors and new hinges. but in the mean time it appears that the pin (at least the top hinge) would be difficult to remove without cutting it as you move it up.
I'm thinking of doing just that but not sure if it will work to try to put some aftermarket pins in their place, somting in the "help" section at the parts stores. am I correct to assume that these hinges are meant to be replaced as a whole? it's getting to the point that i'm slamming the door alot to get it to close. thanks for your help!
