Hey everyone,
Just thought I would drop a line and introduce myself. I stumbled upon this site and was quite impressed. Looks like there are some awesome trucks being built here and I'd like to tap into the vast amount of knowledge ya'll have. I am currently building a 1961 GMC stepside long bed two wheel drive. This won't be a show truck but I plan on doing a few custom tricks to her, here and there. Bought the truck in Charleston, SC back in 93' for a whole wapping 300.00 complete. Have had it on the road for a couple of years and removed it when the clutch went. I have started to strip her down for some serious body work. She's been completly rewired and stock brake system rebuilt. I dropped a 350 small block in it with a muncie behind it. I am going to pull the 4 speed and put in automatic as the four speed is needed in my hot rod project car. Once I get some photos down loaded I'll post them here for all to see.
