New member from Texas just saying Howdy!

Hi Everybody,

Just bought a 1978 Chevy Big10 and thought I better find a site where I can find good information as I perform some TLC on this truck. I am very impressed with the knowledge in many of the posts I have seen.

I just finished (are you ever really done?) restoring my 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo and was looking for a good solid truck that I could tinker with.

The truck is fairly low miles with only 53,000 miles. The truck was parked most of it's life under a carport so the paint is faded, but all in all the truck is clean, straight, and solid. I can't believe I found one that has not been molested in any way and is all original.

Well, thanks for taking the time to read the post. Most likely I will just be reading posts for a while to get the feel of using a forum.

Thanks for a great site,

Ken
