Lowering K5 4WD front leaf springs
After swapping out the 33/12.5 BF Goodrich ATs for 275/60 street radials, the mechanic and I are getting ready to lower the '72 K5 4WD down to roughly stock level (maybe an inch or two lower). Assuming novices at work, we can use some help.
Here's a look at the undercarriage before the tire swap I checked the FAQ index and there is plenty of advice about dealing with rear leaf springs and front coils. What about the front leaf springs? Do you toss 'em and fabricate a coil setup? Or is there a simpler way of going about this? Thanks in advance for your help.
