Hel-lo

Hey ya'll, I'm new here, just bought another truck, 89 Silverado K1500, regular cab SWB. Red, if it matters. Have owned several trucks over the years, but none for 15 years or so. Unless you count the 91 F150 I bought for $200 in Feb. I don't really count it because it has a fuel delivery problem, (only cranks when [I]it [I] wants to), and it's a Ford, but on to the business at hand. I'm from East Tennessee, Bean Station to be exact, I work in industrial construction, and I'm looking forward to being a member of this board, and picking everybody's brains, 'cause this truck has a few issues. Not many but a few. I'll also need help getting the best prices on parts, and yes I have ordered catalogs from LMC & CKResto. I used to play with IROC camaros a good bit, and have a pretty good idea where to get generic GM parts, but the truck specific stuff is a new ballgame to me. I.m gonna need the lower rear cab corners, which I'll probably get from LMC, and I need the door pulls for both sides. Not the handle, the pulls that look like straps. Don't (yet) see them on LMC or CKR. Also need the Silverado emblem that goes on the door. I seem to have a different interior than most early 88-90s trucks I've seen, it has vinyl or molded plastic door panels, not the fabric most seem to have. Oh yeah, it's a 350, recently rebuilt, 5 speed. May have the sport package, as the grille and bumpers are bpdy color. I've had it about a month now, and couldn't be happier. I really like it. I'll post a few pics when my wife finally finds the camera. Later................
