Basic rearend issues

When i bought my blazer, the PO mentioned replacing the rear ring and pinion last year. It works well, and i have taken the thing on a couple of semi long trips (2 or 300 miles) - makes no noises, but -- i tried to verify if it had posi or not by power-braking it, and the LEFT rear tire left the mark , not the right rear , or both

Anybody have any idea? Like i said before, there have been no performance issues in everyday driving.
