thorley headers

Who is running the full tube tri-y? Do the nickle ones blue and look bad after a while I see they have ceramic coated ones as well is it worth the extra money?

Next How do they fit, do you have to notch the frame, do they clear motor mounts? Also how many inches below the frame do they hang?

If you have any pics and part numbers that would rock.

I am at a crossroad between the thorleys and the ECE sanderson 3/4 length?

I have a 3 inch drop in front but am running some nasty poor fitting headmans now(PO) and they are full lengh and I have never bottomed them out yet.

So I am thinking more power full length, better look and less hanging exhaust 3/4.

Anyway I know the ECE ones fit nice and look really good. But still would like to run full tube for the low end pull and the thorleys look sick.

thanks for any help
