Big Problem, No Problem With Vintage Air
Last year i purchased what I thought was a sure fit ac system from vintage air. No doubt it would do but after spending big $$$ on this truck it was not what I had in mind. I ordered thur a dealer and was not asking the right questions or receiving good advise. My issues were many, plactic firewall cover looked bad, hard lines protrude thur firewall, after I had welded patches in, no controll in amount of heat and air all on or all off, just not a good deal. After calling Vintage Air and spending a little more $$ I am very pleased with this company. I returned my purchase and they helped me build a system for my truck. They built an evaporator for a smooth fire wall, sold me Factory A/C control panel for non-factory a c truck using cables instead of vacumn and lots of micro switches, I can now use a nice looking bulkhead instead of plastic cover, and can control ac and heat. I can't speak for the other A/C companies but I am extremely happy with the way I was treated and helped out of a situation I was led down the wrong path on. They have lots of options just ask. I think I made a good choice. I am not knocking the others but so far can say no wrong about V.A. If you have ?? please ask I have ask a lot of questions and would be glad to help someone else out. I have dealt with this over the last 4 months so I might have some input for those still deciding. Sorry so long winded not an easy story to tell.
