Whats Wrong?

yesterday when i got home from school i decided to go for a drive and when i tried to start my truck the most horrible sound came from it like metal hitting metal so i thought it was the fan hittin somthing and i checked and everything was ok so i tried to start it again and now the starter just makes a "eeeeeee" noise, i also checked the battery and it isnt low but when my radio is on and i hit the brakes the radio will go off and then when i turn on the headlight they wont turn on till you hit the brights and when the brights are on it makes a "eeeeee" noise from the battery. anybody know what may be wrong?
