F/F tach dash
This is a tach dash I picked up off ebay and started working to restore it when I tested the tach and found it to be not working properly, it moves when you fire the truck up and a little when you rev the engine up but it is not accurate by any means and will need some attention.( I am being totally honest about the tach gauge acting funny, unlike the guy who I bought it from only stating the tach works, yes it works but not right , Rant off)The tach is one thing I cannot fix Overall it is a pretty descent driver quality dash, all the other gauges work as they should and the speedo has been completly rebuilt. It has a nice original printed circuit, no breaks or hot spots, all bulb holders and the turn signal tubes and gaskets as well as the screws to attach it to your bezel. I have not touched any of the needles up just cleaned the gauges off and the speedo is really nice and so is the ammeter and oil pressure gauge(60lb), the tach face is ok with some discoloration, the temp is descent and the fuel gauge is in pretty good condition (only needing some touch up) but it is for the larger c/40's,50's and 60's. It says overspeed/tandem axle in the red spots at the bottom of the gauge where it should say brake/temp.The tins have some surface rust on them, but not too bad the worst is on the bottom of the inner tin(shown in the pics) that might have the slightest pitting, but will not show when installed in a bezel. The dash does not come with the lens or bezel it will come just like it is pictured. I am asking $125 shipped, it is worth that in parts.
Please respond here only!! No PM's they will be ignored, paypal or US posyal MO, preferred. Randy
