speaker static - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just installed my new Pioneer CD player in my truck and it worked but the old speaker I put in was fuzzy sounding and had a real strange crackle in it. I bought new 4" speakers and made a bracket and stuck them under there and the problem seemed to go away. About two hours later, I jumped in the truck and there was the same annoying crackle. It sounds like like a real deep static but only on the bass sounds. I love my tunes so it is very important to me to get this fixed.
