Should I swap the 454 and 350

I purchased this truck 77 Sliverado with a 350 engine.
I have 73 C20 with a 454/350
Should I take the 454 and replaced the 350?
In California, would this swap be smog legal? As the 73 doesn't have any smog equipment.

Also the 73 has the 14 bolt full floating rear end, would that 14 bolt fit the 77? Would the be a good upgrade?
