Lowered the truck some more today!
Back in the winter 70GMCer and I lowered my truck using 2.5" drop spindles in the disc brake conversion but it wasn't low enough for me. Today we cut half way between .75 and 1 full coil off a set of stock springs using a 3" air cut off tool. I was suprised to get more drop than I wanted. Normally in the past I have cut 1.25 coils off and got 3" drop. Today we got about 2 3/8" drop (now almost 5" total with spindles). I was hoping for only about 1.75" drop. I'm planning to try to add a set of coil spacers if they are still available. I'd like to bring it up about .75 inch. We also installed new KYB Gas Adjust shocks
